About Stationæry
Stationæry is a neighborhood restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea serving seasonal California cooking, small production & natural wine, and vibrant brunch and dinner.
Located in San Carlos Square, the restaurant has become a favorite for Carmel locals — the kind of place people wish they had in their own neighborhood. Guests gather for long brunches, relaxed dinners, and glasses of wine shared among friends.
Our kitchen focuses on ingredients sourced as close to home as possible, working primarily with farms and ranches throughout Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. The menu changes with the seasons and highlights local produce, handmade pastas, and simple dishes prepared with care.
In the mornings, our coffee bar is an essential part of the experience. We proudly serve coffee from Carrier Roasting Co. in Vermont alongside a lively brunch menu that has become a local ritual.
The wine program focuses on small producers and low-intervention wines from both California and Europe — bottles that are expressive, delicious, and meant to be opened at the table.
Stationæry offers several spaces to gather. The main dining room is warm and intimate, the outdoor patio is sunny and relaxed, and our Glass House provides a unique indoor space on the patio that can also host private dinners and small celebrations.
For those on the move, our Take-Away Window offers coffee, food to go, and a small wine shop where guests can pick up bottles to enjoy at home or down at Carmel Beach.
Stationæry is operated by Anthony and Alissa Carnazzo, with the kitchen led by Chef Amalia Scatena. The team has worked together since opening the restaurant in 2018, enjoying the opportunity to cook, host, and welcome people in a place they all love calling home.
Whether joining us for brunch, dinner, coffee, or a bottle of wine, Stationæry is designed to feel welcoming, familiar, and easy to return to again and again.
