Stationæry offers a few intimate ways to gather in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea — whether for a celebratory dinner, rehearsal gathering, or a relaxed brunch with friends and family.
Our restaurant is designed for conversation and lingering around the table, and we love hosting groups who want to share the experience together.
The Glass House
Tucked into our sunny patio, the Glass House offers a private dining space that feels both cozy and connected to the restaurant.
The space seats up to 12-14 guests and is ideal for:
• rehearsal dinners
• birthdays
• family gatherings
• team dinners
• small celebrations
The Glass House can be reserved for both brunch and dinner.
Full Restaurant Buyouts
For larger celebrations, Stationæry is available for full restaurant buyouts.
Buyouts allow guests to enjoy the entire dining room, patio, and Glass House for a private event in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
For seated dinners, the restaurant can accommodate up to 60 guests, including the Glass House. The main dining room seats approximately 36 -38 guests, with the Glass House accommodating 12–14 guests.
For cocktail-style gatherings and receptions, the patio can host approximately 60–80 guests - weather dependent.
Large Gatherings
We are always happy to help plan thoughtful gatherings. Because our dining room — and especially our kitchen — are intentionally small, large groups benefit from a bit of advance coordination.
In addition to our Glass House private dining room & full buyouts, we also offer Brunch Club and Dinner Club shared-format experiences for groups joining us during peak service hours. These formats allow our kitchen to prepare dishes in a way that ensures the table is served smoothly and at the same time, creating a relaxed and convivial experience for everyone.
