It’s been awhile…

It’s been a bit since I’ve typed on this Stationæry blog. The last entry was a short note letting people know we were shifting to a take-away restaurant during the 2020 pandemic shutdowns.

So much has happened since then.

We built parklets. We had another baby. Our family moved out of the upstairs apartment above the restaurant. We expanded the patio and into the Glass House. Now our kids take the bus home from school and meet us at the restaurant in the afternoons.

Looking back on all of it, we feel incredibly grateful.

Carmel-by-the-Sea — our home — has given so much to our family, and we’re thankful every day that we get to run this restaurant here.

I’m hoping to pop in here from time to time to jot down a few thoughts, share updates, and keep the internet informed about what’s happening around Stationæry.

I’m including this little moment because it captures the stage of life we’re in right now — family birthday parties, moments with friends between brunch service and kids’ soccer games. It’s a sweet time.
